The limits described in this guide apply to users who have successfully completed KYB/KYC verification and activated a VelaFi Merchant Account.
Once verification is completed, a default transaction limit will be assigned to your merchant account. If your business requires higher limits, you may submit a limit upgrade request for review.
Cryptocurrency Withdrawal Limits
The default monthly cryptocurrency withdrawal limit for VelaFi Merchant Account is USD 15,000.
Fiat Transaction Limits
The default fiat deposit and withdrawal limit for VelaFi Merchant Accounts is USD 3,000.
For merchant accounts registered in Argentina, the default fiat deposit and withdrawal limit is USD 2,400.
How to Request a Limit Upgrade
If your current limits do not meet your business requirements, you can submit a 'Limit Upgrade' request through the VelaFi Merchant Dashboard.
Steps
- Log in to your VelaFi account.

Go to the 'Merchant' page and click 'Limits' - 'Details'.

Click 'Upgrade' to submit a limit upgrade request.

You will be redirected to the AiPrise verification platform. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the verification process and submit the required information.
Review Process & Limit Adjustment
After your request is submitted, VelaFi will review your application. During the review process, you may communicate with your account manager regarding your business needs and desired transaction limits to assist with the overall assessment.
- If the application is approved, the Compliance Team will assign an appropriate transaction limit based on the review results.
- If the application is not approved, your current limits will remain unchanged.

- All information and supporting documents submitted for a limit upgrade request must be accurate, complete, and valid.
- The final approved transaction limits are subject to VelaFi’s review and approval.
