This guide explains what a VelaFi MID is, how to obtain it, and important considerations when submitting your MID. Please follow the instructions carefully to help ensure that funds are credited successfully.

What Is a MID?

MID is a unique merchant identification number assigned to merchants on the VelaFi platform.

After registering a VelaFi account and completing KYC verification, individual users can activate a merchant account and view their MID in the 'Merchant' section.

How to Obtain Your MID?

Step 1: Register a VelaFi Account

Step 2: Complete KYC Verification

Follow the on-screen instructions to submit the required information. Once your KYC verification is approved, merchant features will be unlocked.

Step 3: Copy Your MID

After your merchant account has been successfully activated, go to the 'Merchant' section to view and copy your MID.

Notes

Please submit your MID, not your UID, as your Mass Payout information. To distinguish between the two, please refer to the Merchant (MID).
A valid MID can only be generated for merchant accounts that have successfully completed identity verification. Accounts with no verification submitted, pending review, or failed verification cannot receive funds normally.
